Meetings are a necessary part of getting business done within organisations and with external partners. However, the opportunity meetings provide to progress business objectives is rarely fully utilised.
This event is designed for anyone, in whatever sector (private or public, central and local government, voluntary and charitable sectors) who wants to improve their approach to meetings, whether chairing or participating.
This is a highly practical course which gives people the opportunity to identify, understand and practice meeting skills, gain in confidence, and become more effective in achieving their objectives.

Kevin Edwards - Training Consultant
Kevin has worked extensively in the public sector since 1980, initially as a civil servant in central government departments for Employment, Health, and Social Security in both executive and policy roles.
He worked as a training consultant for the Benefits Agency for eight years, before leaving to work as a freelance Learning and Development Consultant.
He has designed and delivered events for a wide range of clients in the public, voluntary and private sectors, working with people at all levels within organisations.
Kevin delivers training on a range of management and personal development topics, but specialises in communications – written and interpersonal.
