The last of three roundtables in the Demos and PwC series will focus on pay and rewards. Our aim is to produce ideas and insights that result in ‘good jobs’, to the benefit of employees, employers and wider society. This work follows previous Demos and PwC collaborations on ‘good growth’.

Discussion in this session will focus on what links could be drawn between pay and other indicators of job quality, and between pay and productivity. It will also be asked what lessons might be learned from sectors where pay and performance have risen together.

Speakers at the event will include

  • Drew Matthews, Group Remuneration Director at Tesco,
  • Duncan Weldon, Senior Policy Officer at TUC and
  • John Hawksworth, Chief UK Economist at PwC.

Duncan O’Leary, Research Director at Demos will chair the session.
