PubAffairs Freelance is the network for freelance, interim and micro-business professionals. Our next event is generously supported by IPSE and Clayton Desant, and will take place in the recently refurbished Cellar Bar at The Red Lion in Westminster from 6.30 - 8.30pm on Tuesday 9th September. We are very pleased to be welcoming one of IPSE's specialist Tax advisers who will give a short address and take questions from the floor.
Are you a freelancer or working on an interim basis?
Are you a newly created or an established micro-consultancy?
Are you considering going freelance or setting up on your own?
The PubAffairs Freelance networking event presents an opportunity for informal networking with like-minded practitioners experienced in public affairs, policy and more widely in media relations, speechwriting, public relations and communications.
The event offers practitioners the chance to gain invaluable insight and advice from others about the practical aspects of freelancing and setting up as a consultancy, and is also for anyone considering the move into self-employment, interim work or establishing their own business.
We are IPSE, the Association of Independent Professionals and the Self Employed, and on the 1st September we evolved from being the PCG. Not only is our name IPSE an acronym, it is the Latin word for ‘self’ or ‘by oneself’ – a reference to our chosen way of working. With over 21,000 members, IPSE is the largest association of independent professionals in the EU, representing a wide range of freelancers, contractors and consultants from every sector of the economy. We believe that flexibility in the labour force is crucial to Britain’s economic success. Our role is to promote independent working by supporting and empowering our members individually, and collectively providing them with an influential voice in government and industry. |
