The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

ECF is a specialist communications and engagement consultancy working across the UK. We deliver stakeholder and community engagement campaigns for a mix of public and private sector clients, helping bring communities and clients closer together on built environmentprojects.

We’re looking for an Account Executive to join our London-based team and support our continued growth in the UK. You’ll be part of a multi-disciplinary group of engagement and communications specialists, united by a commitment to improving outcomes for individuals and communities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in consultancy (not necessarily communications related), and be confident supporting on projects and accounts independently. You’ll be comfortable facilitating workshops, organising meaningful engagement events, and building relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering consultation plans and events, including stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation;
  • Drafting campaign materials and reports;
  • Managing projects day-to-day and attending client meetings;
  • Producing client-ready evaluations and contributing to pitches;
  • Supporting strategic communications and engagement programmes.

Essential skills and qualities:

  • Strong project management and multitasking abilities;
  • Understanding of stakeholder and community engagement, including political dynamics;
  • Excellent writing, listening, and presentation skills;
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively;
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and design packages;
  • A team player with integrity, loyalty, and a commitment to long-term growth.
