The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

What you’ll need to do

Be a key member of our Midlands team, supporting Account Managers and Directors in the delivery and development of exceptional services to ensure client and company objectives are met. Working in public affairs, stakeholder engagement and communications your role will be to support the delivery of exciting projects across the region, from building homes and green energy projects to championing better transport links.   

You will be developing commercial expertise and wider project management skills which will support career progression. 

  • Support the wider team on the delivery of planning and management of public consultations;
  • Attend client meetings, deputising for Account Managers when required;
  • Manage the writing and production of consultation materials;
  • Undertake political and stakeholder research and provide insight that can help shape campaigns;
  • Carry out analysis and collate evidence for consultation events and communication strategies;
  • Understand clients well enough to represent them to their audiences;
  • Write press releases, presenting good quality, accurate articles with attention to detail;
  • Media monitoring;
  • Use social media to promote consultation and engagement activities;
  • Identify and support new business opportunities;
  • Contribute to the marketing efforts of the team and wider business.
