Who we are:

The Care & Support Alliance (CSA) represents over 75 of Britain’s leading charities campaigning alongside the millions of older people, disable people and their carers who deserve decent care. The alliance was set up with the single aim of ensuring people can get the care they need, when they need it. Currently 1.4 million older and disabled people do not get the care they need and after years of chronic underfunding the system is not fit for purpose.

The National Autistic Society (NAS) holds the secretariat of the alliance and your role will be split, working for both the CSA and the NAS.

The National Autistic Society is the UK’s leading charity for autistic people. Since 1962, we’ve been transforming lives, changing attitudes and helping to create a society that works for autistic adults and children.

We have come a long way but it is not good enough. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for people on the spectrum. With your help, we can make it happen.

What we can offer you:

  • Pension scheme;
  • 25 days annual leave;
  • Excellent induction, training and development programme including training about autism and opportunities to attend our conferences;
  • Online staff discount scheme for a range of benefits (cycle to work scheme, season ticket loan);
  • Access to a 24-hour employee assistance programme.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a Campaigns and Communications Officer to ensure the smooth running of the secretariat of The Care and Support Alliance, supporting the communications activities of the Alliance, and providing support to the NAS Policy and Campaigns team.

This is a full-time, permanent role, reporting into the Senior Media and Campaigns Manager.
