Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

Hume Brophy has announced that Caroline Escott joined their London office in a senior role covering the Public Affairs and Financial Services practices.

Caroline joins the consultancy from the UK Sustainable Investment and Finance Association (UKSIF). As Head of Government Relations, she led on the organisation’s media and political relations work, running several high-profile policy campaigns and delivering senior-level advice to the association’s pension fund, asset management, banking and financial advisor members.

Prior to her work at UKSIF, Caroline was an advisor to senior parliamentarians in Westminster, providing strategic counsel on financial services, health and energy issues as well as working on the Conservative Party campaign during the 2010 General Election.

Previous roles also included working at a political consultancy on energy, transport and sustainable housing issues and in asset management. She sits on the CIPR Public Affairs Board and is a founding member of the Association of Professional Political Consultants’ (APPC) Young Consultants’ Committee.
