The Rt Hon Sir David Hanson has today been appointed as a Non-Executive Director and Specialist Consultant at Camlas.

A former Member of Parliament, representing Delyn from 1992 to 2019, Sir David was a government minister at the Ministry of Justice and the Home Office and spent four years working at No.10 as Parliamentary Secretary and brings his considerable experience at Westminster to Camlas. He will be offering strategic advice to Camlas clients on non-devolved matters and will join the board of Directors.

Commenting on the appointment, Angela Burns, Chair of Camlas said: “We welcome Sir David to our Board and as a Specialist Consultant. His experience at Westminster, his knowledge of the justice system and his expertise in building long-term cross-party partnerships will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen and grow Camlas.”
