Rud Pedersen has appointed Helmut Kranzmaier as Senior Advisor. He will work with teams and clients across the company's 20 offices on public affairs, strategic positioning, stakeholder engagement and industrial policy, with a particular focus on Germany, the Nordic region and the EU policy environment in Brussels.

Kranzmaier brings more than 25 years of international experience across banking, strategic communications and venture building, including nearly a decade in public affairs and government relations. He held senior positions at Deutsche Bank and later became Partner and Head of the Berlin and Brussels offices at global strategic communications consultancy Kekst CNC. He subsequently co-founded two start-ups and was a partner at a Berlin-based corporate venture builder. He is a Senior Advisor to the global technology investment bank Drake Star, a role he will continue alongside his work for Rud Pedersen.

Morten Rud Pedersen, Founder, President and CEO of Rud Pedersen Group said: “Helmut brings together corporate, advisory and entrepreneurial experience of a kind our clients increasingly ask for. Their questions to us are rarely pure policy questions anymore; they are business questions with a political dimension. Helmut's understanding of how technology and business transformation intersect with politics, regulation and stakeholder expectations will strengthen our ability to advise on exactly that. We are delighted to welcome him to Rud Pedersen.”

Helmut Kranzmaier said: “Public affairs can no longer be viewed separately from technological change, business transformation and corporate renewal. Companies that treat these as separate disciplines will fall behind. Rud Pedersen understood this earlier than most, and it combines strong local market knowledge with a genuinely international perspective. I look forward to bringing my experience and network to its teams and clients across Europe.”
