Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

Are you passionate about politics, communications, and meaningful change? Join our dynamic team as an Accounts and Campaigns Executive and gain first-hand experience supporting high-profile All-Party Parliamentary Groups (APPGs) and strategic communications projects by being part of the devolution revolution.

Devo Agency is the agency of change. It works together with the best there is in public affairs, strategic communications, project delivery and facilitates debate, research and campaigns focused on powering devolution.

Based outside the Westminster bubble it is unique in that it informs and shapes the debate on what good devolution looks like, what it means and what it is for, by being specialists embedded in the regions.

It has excellent relationships across devolved economic and Metro Mayor landscape and links Westminster by providing specialist devolution knowledge and the secretariats for leading APPGs and provides much needed devolution literacy to businesses, coalitions, institutions, and other Westminster based agencies, seeking to understand the devolved landscape better.

There is no other political communications agency who focus on powering devolution. 

Your Role

You will play an integral part in supporting political engagement, stakeholder management, and communications. You will:

  • Support the organisation and administration of APPGs, including invitations, minute-taking, and follow-ups;
  • Track relevant parliamentary activity (Hansard, EDMs, PQs);
  • Research and map stakeholders and potential sponsors;
  • Craft engaging social media posts and assist with our content calendar;
  • Keep our websites up to date with the latest events, blogs and activities;
  • Attend events, capture insights, and prepare summaries;
  • Help with internal reporting and documentation.

Tools You'll Use:

  • Google Drive: For collaborative documents and meeting notes;
  • Social Media Platforms: Especially LinkedIn and BlueSky for impactful outreach;
  • CRM Hubspot: for newsletters and engagement;
  • SquareSpace: for website updates.

What Success Looks Like?

In just two months, you'll have

  • Gained a solid understanding of our core projects and processes;
  • Grown confident in supporting APPG and political operations and event planning;
  • Delivered polished notes, thorough research, and creative content;
  • Built strong relationships within our team and partner network;
  • Shown curiosity, initiative, and a proactive approach to learning.

Flexible working from home with circa 2 days a week working from our Manchester Office and visits to Westminster and other cities as required.

Holidays: 25 days plus 3 over Christmas.
