Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

Our opportunity

We are looking for an Analyst to join our growing and award-winning team in Farringdon, London.

Ideal for someone who is looking to kickstart their career in communications and corporate affairs, this entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals to gain broad exposure to all aspects of our Communications practice and receive comprehensive support to develop essential technical skills.

For the first six months, the individual will work across the Communications department providing support to account teams and to the senior team. They will then start to be allocated specific accounts and after the first year will move into one of the specialist advisory teams.

What you’ll be doing:

No two days are the same in this role, but here’s a flavour of what to expect:

  • Learning, learning and more learning.
  • Supporting our incredible teams to provide first class client service.
  • Crafting content such as articles, press releases and helping to prepare teams ahead of meetings.
  • Taking a lead on media monitoring activities, keeping a pulse on industry trends and competitor activity, preparing regular media monitoring reports, and developing media lists.
  • Conducting research in response to briefs and leveraging A1 agents and tools.
  • Engaging in continuous learning to enhance your expertise across all areas.
