We are looking for a public affairs professional who shares our passion for local government to lead a new team within our well established Public Affairs service.

Your career history of leading public affairs work either in other agencies or in-house will mean you are adept in delivering a great client service, with the ‘people’ skills to build lasting relationships with a wide range of clients wanting to engage and build their relationships with local governments.

You will be a natural leader, with the confidence and ambition to run a team and the drive to keep growing not only your own career but to share your learning and empower others.

Your drive will mean that winning work brings you as much personal and professional reward as delivering outstanding campaigns.

Essential skills and attributes we’re looking for:

  • A great writer and communicator;
  • An inspirational leader who empowers others;
  • A creative problem-solver;
  • Detail-oriented, and dedicated to providing a 5* service;
  • Personable, able to relate to council officers, councillors and key stakeholders;
  • A networker, a relationship-builder and a great salesperson.
