The CEO will represent the live music industry at a governmental level, and successfully lobby on behalf of the sector and liaise at a senior level across Government departments, as well as being the principal spokesperson for LIVE.

The role requires strong management and communication capabilities, and the ability to support and develop multiple subcommittees and working groups that include international touring (specifically work on touring in the EU post Brexit), sustainability at live events; equality, diversity and inclusion; mental health and wellbeing in the business.

The leadership requirements of the role are significant, and the successful candidate will be able to encourage and manage growth whilst not losing sight of LIVE’s core values and continuing to innovate to address the changing choices and needs of our industry. Core qualities to our new CEO will be integrity, learning agility, empathy and respect, as well as the ability to influence those around them.

The purpose of the role is to work across the UK and nationally to ensure we meet the needs of the UK’s live music industry through better outcomes for more people. We expect the CEO to provide exceptional leadership to staff, members and external associations, industry heads and others, driving new policies through our work.
