Based in London, as Chief of Staff (Group Policy & Public Affairs) you'll provide right hand support to the Executive Director to the CEO – you'll facilitate, drive and shape the direction and development of strategic priorities focussing on both internal and external affairs, public affairs, social policy and social goals.

Through robust analysis you'll support the shaping and direction of the organisation’s priorities and commitments, in development and delivery of the financial strategy - which will ensure the Group delivers on its financial targets and goals.

You'll prepare professional presentations, briefing packs and analysis for the Executive Director, which will facilitate effective discussions on the decisions and direction of the wider Group policy.

You'll already be operating at a strategic level in a similar Chief of Staff/Commercial/Management role, in addition, we’d expect to see a proven successful management consultancy background, and ideally with experience in a large consumer focussed organisation, with a focus on policy making, corporate and public affairs and social policy.

Academically strong, we'll look for you to be motivated and pace-setting - a completer finisher, politically astute, robust and successful in needing to initiate rather than be led. You'll be proactive, with a high level of influencing skills - comfortable with, and successful at, engaging and influencing senior stakeholders.
