The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority is growing a team of exceptional individuals to deliver our vision for an inclusive, globally competitive City Region. This is an exciting time for us, having successfully negotiated and secured a Devolution Agreement with Government and elected the City Region’s first ever Metro Mayor.
Working in the Policy and Strategic Commissioning Directorate, this role will help set the strategic agenda for the City Region’s economic development ambitions, working with partners and stakeholders in promoting an environment that allows us to unlock growth and develop an inclusive economy. We are seeking a strategically minded individual who will generate ideas, has demonstrable experience in the development and application of strategy and policy, and has an excellent understanding of contemporary economic development issues.
Most of all, we are looking for someone who is self-starting, collaborative, ambitious, creative, and who will demonstrate a commitment to evidence-based policy making and a determination to deliver for the people of Liverpool City Region.
