The Health Foundation is looking for an External Affairs Manager to join the team, initially on a six-month contract. We would especially welcome secondment applications.
**Due to the urgency of this role, we are looking for candidates who are available to start in October 2023**
Experience in health is desirable, but as part of our plans to influence the ‘wider determinants’ or ‘building blocks’ of good health, we also strongly welcome candidates with experience in policy areas beyond what is often thought of as health – such as employment, welfare, housing and/or local government.
What is essential is your influencing skills – with a General Election looming – and your ability to really put issues on the political agenda.
In return, you will get to work in a busy External Affairs team as we prepare our work for the general election.
6-month Fixed-Term Contract (ideally starting in October 2023) with potential for an extension. Secondments are welcome.
Full-time role and hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days in our London office.
