Are you passionate about using data to inform policy?

Are you interested in supporting Police and Crime Commissioners and Chief Constables through providing policy and data and analysis?

If so, we would love to hear from you.

You will be working jointly for the Association of Police and Crime Commissioners (APCC) and National Police Chiefs Council (NPCC) in this important  role.

You will be accustomed to providing high quality briefings, data and analysis and delivering verbal briefings in sector-wide meetings.

You’ll need to be able to work confidently and effectively with elected politicians, Chief Constables and senior policing stakeholders, as well as with APCC and NPCC colleagues.

This is a varied and rewarding role and provides a unique opportunity to gain experience at the heart of national policing and criminal justice policy, working for the Joint Partnership Team which has been formed between the APCC and the National Police Chiefs Council to ensure that the sector is aligned to drive strategic change in policing, criminal justice, and community safety.

Fixed contract until August 2023.
