This fantastic post will work on evidence-based, collaborative, and innovative policy development with colleagues across our Advocacy & System Change team. The role will be central in determining what the Society thinks about the big issues affecting people living with dementia, such as diagnosis, research, and social care.
The Policy Officer will support Policy Managers to implement a policy development strategy and be an expert policy advisor to colleagues across the Society.

About you
You will be ready to challenge the status quo and identify action needed to make tangible change in dementia at national and local levels across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
- You will be looking to hone your influencing skills in many different environments whilst engaging with stakeholders of varying levels of seniority;
- You will show excellent attention to detail, and enjoy producing and presenting high quality, innovative content;
- You will be a team player and ready to build consistency and understanding around our policymaking, while working on shared influencing priorities alongside others in the Advocacy & System Change team.
