Are you ready to embark on a rewarding career journey with MDDUS during this period of growth in our business? We're on the lookout for a Public Affairs and Communications Officer to join our team on a permanent basis.

We are searching for an energetic and driven Public Affairs and Communications officer to join us – someone who has a focus on delivering great work and generating ideas with a keen interest in health, current affairs and politics across all nations of the UK.

What the Role is all about:

We are searing for an energetic and driven Public Affairs and Communications officer to join us – someone who has a focus on delivering great work, generating ideas and a keen interest in health, current affairs and politics across all nations of the UK.

At its heart, this role is to support the delivery of an outstanding service and experience for our members through eye-catching strategic communications, public affairs and campaigns.

Joining MDDUS will give you an opportunity to work with a diverse range of colleagues including doctors, dentists, and lawyers as we provide a service that’s firmly on the side of our members. The role will also enable you to get involved in other aspects of our work including research, social media and organising events.

Having an interest in health – its delivery and the development of policy – alongside an understanding of how health is delivered in the NHS and private sector across all the devolved nations would be an advantage.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about public affairs and communications and looking to build their experience and expertise in an organisation that plays an important part in the delivery of safe healthcare.

The role is busy and varied and the successful candidate will get wide-ranging experience working across a number of key public affairs and communications activities. You will also be supported to develop your expertise through training and ongoing support and development.

You'll also collaborate with our wider colleagues and contribute towards MDDUS's mission under the guidance of our Head of Public Affairs and Communications.
