The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

I am recruiting for a Public Affairs Lead with an energy / infrastructure business in London.

You will:

  • Set up Public Affairs Strategy in NWE (UK, Netherlands, Germany and Ireland);
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders in the NWE;
  • Monitor public policy initiatives to identify risks and opportunities for our corporate projects and participate actively in the decision-making process to support our activities;
  • Represent the company before governments, authorities, public bodies, MPs and sectorial associations;
  • Raise awareness about the company's projects towards sustainability and energy transition;
  • Design and implement public affairs strategy and plans, advocacy actions and outreach campaigns.

The Successful Applicant

You will have:

  • Strong experience in public policy (in public administration, association, consultancy company or within the sector);
  • Experience in energy or infrastructure or another highly regulated market;
  • Experience of Setting and implementing public affairs strategy and plans within the UK and Europe;
  • Some of experience of working in Europe;
  • Sound knowledge of government, parliamentary and regulatory procedure, and environment;
  • Excellent writing, oral and analytical skills.
