The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

Red Flag is run by former government advisers, senior diplomats, journalists and multinational executives backed up by a team of communications, political and strategy consultants.

We are always looking to meet potential new partners, consultants and team members, and are now specifically seeking experienced candidates for the following roles:

  • Senior Consultant (Global Campaigns) – Responsible for driving client campaigns and providing strategic counsel, both at global level and within particular regions and markets; managing client and stakeholder relationships and leading a multi-disciplinary campaigns team; and identifying and securing new campaigns and business opportunities;
  • Senior Consultant (UK Media / Public Affairs) – Responsible for leading client engagements and providing strategic counsel with a focus on the UK political sphere; managing client and stakeholder relationships; identifying and securing new business opportunities; and overall development of our team and accounts in your portfolio.

The ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

  • Proven experience as a Campaign Director / Manager, Account Director / Manager or Public Affairs Lead, with significant relevant professional experience in corporate, political, media or agency roles;
  • Exceptional communications and leadership skills, with a track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams;
  • Proven ability to foster and maintain long-term relationships with senior clients and contacts;
  • Demonstrable experience in successful pitching and negotiation;
  • Skilled at efficient project management, budgeting, reporting and performance evaluation;
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including fluency in English essential; additional languages an advantage;
  • A strong network of media and stakeholder contacts in relevant spheres.

These positions are based in our London office, but candidates wishing to work from our offices in Brussels, Dublin or Washington DC, or remotely, will be considered. In normal circumstances some international travel is likely to be required.

Attractive terms and conditions will be offered to the right candidates with a remuneration package based on experience.
