An opportunity has arisen to lead a policy influencing programme on clean air, around the COP26 climate change talks. This is a fantastic new role that will be responsible for leading the largest multi-channel COP26 storytelling campaign on air pollution to date, alongside our Senior storytelling and communications officer. You will play a leading role in our air quality team at Asthma UK-British Lung Foundation, representing the charity in the media and with high-level political stakeholders.

We are looking for someone who has experience successfully influencing policy and working with politicians to make things happen. You will be an enthusiastic self-starter who is able to manage complex projects and balance priorities in a fast-paced policy environment. You will have an excellent understand and proven track record of political influencing, as well as expertise in environment and/or health policy.

You’ll be working alongside other charities, think tanks and industry groups to persuade the UK government to back bolder clean air laws and policies that will safeguard millions of people from air pollution for years to come.

Location: Mansell Street, London. Currently working remotely from home in line with government pandemic requirements.

Salary: £37,000 - £39,000 per annum dependant on experience.

Contract: 12 Months FTC (Project-based).
