The MiP annual conference is one of the major events in the health sector calendar, providing MiP members and others working within the sector with a valuable opportunity to come together to:

  • learn about the changes and challenges which impact on them
  • learn about innovations in health service delivery
  • find out about latest policy issues and developments in the health sector
  • network and share best practice with colleagues
  • get support and advice on key workplace issues

MiP’s 2014 conference takes place just six months before the General Election making it this year’s “must attend” event for all managers and partners in the health and care sector. The 2014 annual MIP conference will focus on the leadership role that managers play in developing and delivering high quality efficient health care and in developing and nurturing leaders at all levels in their organisations. Delegates will also have the opportunity to quiz policy makers about their plans for the NHS in 2015 and beyond and ask: where next for health and care?

The MiP annual conference provides a good opportunity for MiP members to exchange their experiences and views and get practical support on the issues which affect them. By focusing-in on quality, this year’s conference will have broad appeal and provide managers who are doing their best to deliver quality health care during tough times with advice and guidance.

This year, the MiP Annual Conference will encourage audience participation and delegates will be given the opportunity to vote, comment and share their views via interactive media. In this way all delegates can get involved in the debate and express their views about “where next for health and care?”
