Are you looking for more ownership of day-to-day client management and project delivery?

We are looking for Account Manager to join the team and act as the glue between members of the team and our expert panel to drive client excellence.

Client Management

  • Owner of day-to-day client relationships, able to identify client needs and deliver on them;
  • Strong commercial understanding of client businesses / organisations;
  • Builds good personal relationships with clients;
  • Acts as a key point in the client-delivery teams to ensure delivery against KPIs and an approach that surprises and delights;
  • Has good insight and judgement on risk, reputation and politics;
  • Delivers high quality work to excellent standards;
  • Thinks creatively to identify solutions to problems;
  • Actively manages client financials and has an eye for the company’s financial health and profitability.

Project Management

  • Proactive approach to PM, foreseeing problems and being solution focused;
  • Implements the key internal processes and systems to ensure we deliver on time and to budget;
  • Capable of running the PM process from client sign off to budget development and final delivery of key outputs;
  • Capable of harnessing diverse teams to work collaboratively towards the clients’ objectives.

Relationships

  • Knows how to manage upwards and build positive working relations with senior people in the business – CEO and Expert Panel;
  • Brings creativity and ambition to the role to consider how River Effra moves from a start-up to being the leader in its field;
  • Always embodies the River Effra Values – demonstrating high levels of integrity and credibility – at the same time as ensuring respect and that the job is engaging and fun.

Skills

  • Understanding of risk and crisis management landscape;
  • Able to work in high pressure situations;
  • Understanding of political and media landscape;
  • Building a media and stakeholder network;
  • Is able to use technology to the advantage of the business;
  • Strong communication skills orally and in written form;
  • Proven track record of project delivery;
  • Excellent prioritisation, problem solving and time management skills;
  • Self-starter.
