Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the only UK-wide charity making a daily difference to the lives of people with cystic fibrosis (CF), and those who care for them. We invest in cutting-edge research, promote great care and wellbeing, offer support for everyone affected by CF, and campaign hard on the issues that matter.

We are an innovative and forward-looking charity, committed to a step change in the impact we make for the people we support.

We are now looking for an inspirational thinker and leader to be our new Director of External Affairs. You will have the knowledge and experience to drive and deliver a strategy to bring about real change through dynamic and effective leadership of our external affairs which encompasses policy and public affairs, marketing and communication and the information and support we provide.

Working with the Senior Leadership Team you will shape the strategic direction of the Trust at a time of rapid change for people with cystic fibrosis informed by the challenges and opportunities of the external environment.

Although we are based in London, we work across the whole UK, and we are keen to ensure that we recruit the best possible individual for this role and applicants are encouraged regardless of geographical location.
