A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an International Regulatory Affairs Manager (Financial Services).

You will:

  • Lead the development and delivery of and act as champion for prudential and regulatory strategies in development and defence scenarios for the Americas region;
  • Lead the defence of the organisation’s current prudential arrangements in the Americas region, anticipating business challenges and regulatory issues, and recommending and managing process, product or service improvements where necessary;
  • Support the compliance with organisation’s regulatory and prudential requirements in the Americas region, in order to manage, protect, and enhance organisation’s licences and trading rights in all organisation’s markets around the world, consistent with organisation’s strategy and business plan;
  • Lead functional teams or projects, serving as a best practice/quality resource, and being recognised as an expert in your own area within the organisation;
  • Manage and developing the IR Americas team;
  • Lead discussions and negotiations with key internal and external stakeholders.

You will have:

  • Knowledge of international regulatory environment, regimes and requirements in either a prudential or conduct setting;
  • Ability to anticipate business challenges and/or regulatory issues, recommend process, product or service improvements;
  • Ability to lead relationships with key stakeholders;
  • Ability to interpret regulation and legal advice & take appropriate practical actions;
  • Clear and concise communication skills;
  • Ability to solve unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on business;
  • Experience of providing strategic leadership;
  • Experience of team management.
