This seminar looks into the complex world of EU lobbying, investigating how to access decision makers and influence policy making in order to represent or defend your interests. EU policies and directives originate from diverse sources. This event enables participants to understand the decision making and influencing powers involved in the European policy making process and to make sense of the tactical lobbying interventions that occur throughout.
Who will benefit from attending?
Anyone who is responsible for representing their own, or their organisation’s, interests in Europe. Those who want to be more effective in accessing and influencing key decision makers.
You will have:
- developed a strong understanding of how to negotiate with Brussels
- sharpened your skills in effectively managing your message
- enhanced your knowledge of key procedures and etiquettes.
Organisations will be better placed to develop and deliver their core messages through having a well-equipped staff. Staff will be able to interact on a European level in policy and decision making, and in influencing the people who have the power to decide in a way that is beneficial to the organisation.
