A successful public affairs and communication strategy starts with mapping the key stakeholders who hold influence and decision-making powers over matters affecting your organisation.

However, you may be confused about who you need to know, need guidance on how build relationships with key stakeholders, or want to know how to effectively build your profile.

Stakeholder mapping is what allows you to transform your reach and develop successful communications strategies, and DevoConnect is here to assist you with this process. This training session will give you the practical tools to target stakeholders at every level of the decision-making process, from national, regional, and local levels. Our insight and expertise will guide you through the process and teach you how to foster a public affairs strategy that works for you.

During this training session we will:

  • Explain the stakeholder mapping concept;
  • Teach you how to identify your target audience (who’s who);
  • Provide actionable advice on how to engage and build relationships with stakeholders, outlining different approaches for different audiences;
  • Equip you with practical tools to help you prioritise your targets and prepare future communications;
  • Guide you to an activity plan so you can build your profile and achieve your communications goals.

This training session is delivered by devolution expert and award-winning consultant, Gill Morris, Chief Executive of DevoConnect.

Price: £175 private sector, £150 voluntary/public sector.
