Chancellor Rachel Reeves will deliver this year's Budget with the backdrop of several hefty fiscal problems, including weak growth, rising borrowing costs, and sustained pressure on public finances. With rumours of unpopular moves such as raising income tax, and subsequent climbdowns, Reeves is facing calls from business leaders, her colleagues in Parliament and the public alike to provide clarity and stability.

Atticus Partners is pleased to invite you to our webinar event 'Budget 2025: Winners, Losers and What's Next' for a discussion which aims to make sense of the Budget with our expert panel.

On Thursday 27th November at 9:30am, our panel will look at the outcomes of the Budget, what it says about the Treasury's financial priorities and what we can expect from the government going forward.

Our expert panel includes:

Dame Siobhain McDonagh MP - Dame Siobhain has been the MP for Mitcham and Morden since 1997, and is a Member of the Treasury Committee. Previously, she has served as a Parliamentary Private Secretary and an Assistant Whip.

Mike Buckley - Mike is Senior Counsel at Atticus Partners, as well as Director of the Independent Commission on UK-EU Relations. Mike is also a Director at campaigning consultancy Campaign Central.

James Brougham - James is a Senior Economist at Make UK, an organisation that chapions the engineering and manufacturing industries in the UK, supporting businesses around the country.
