You are cordially invited to the next PubAffairs EU Networking Event in London which will kindly be hosted by the Netherlands Ambassador to the United Kingdom Simon Smits.
The reception will take place at the Ambassador's Residence in the evening of Wednesday 19th September between 6.30pm and 8.30pm.

As North Sea Neighbours, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom have close ties in many areas.
Not only are we geographically nearby, we cooperate bilaterally and in multilateral fora on the widest range of issues,have a long-standing and intense trading relationship, and historically close cultural ties between our two peoples.
The Ambassador and the Embassy staff represent the interests of the Netherlands, its citizens, and Dutch business in the United Kingdom. To this end, we cooperate closely with the British government and parliament, as well as with civil society organizations, businesses, universities, cultural institutions and think tanks. Like many of you, the Embassy follows and reports on ongoing developments in the UK, including in relationship to EU negotiations and policy-making processes.
Hosting this edition of the PubAffairs EU reception is an honour and a great pleasure, which we hope will provide an excellent occasion to get acquainted, exchange experiences, and deepen our ties. We look forward to meeting you all on Wednesday 19th September.
PubAffairs EU is the network for UK and European-based practitioners working in EU public affairs and engaging with the European Union institutions. Our networking event presents an opportunity for informal cross-sectoral peer-to-peer networking, bringing together practitioners with an EU focus in their communications role, to exchange experiences, share advice and discuss topical issues.
