This week’s panel discussion comes after the first leaders’ debate, and the publication of the Scottish Labour, the Greens and the SNP manifestos. We will focus on how these developments are unfolding - and how the twists and turns of the week ahead will continue to shape the next parliamentary term.

Our View from the Street: Live  series is designed to help you cut through the political noise - unpacking party manifestos, analysing the latest polling, and focusing on what really matters ahead of 7 May.

We will continue every Thursday with a rotating panel of expert guests, running through to the week before the election.

Tune in for our next event at 12:45pm on Thursday 16 April to hear from:

  • Rachel Amery, Political correspondent at The Scotsman
  • Chris Deerin, Scotland editor of the New Statesman and director of think-tank Enlighten
  • John Cumming, Senior client manager at Charlotte Street Partners

The conversation will be chaired by our associate partner, and former political editor of The Scottish Sun, Rachel Watson.
