Join The 93% Club for an evening of discussion and connection at their Westminster Panel Event and networking reception - bringing together state-schooled professionals working in and around Westminster, who are passionate about advancing social mobility and improving opportunities for individuals from state-educated backgrounds.

Hosted by Teneo, the evening will open with a panel conversation featuring voices from across politics, policy, and media, sharing their personal career journeys in Westminster and exploring how we can make politics and public life more accessible, inclusive, and reflective of the 93% of people educated in UK state schools.

Panellists:

  • Sam Pooke, Chair - Head of Public Affairs, Freenow (The 93% Club Professionals Member)
  • Jo Tanner, Former Communications Adviser to Boris Johnson (Director, Rud Pedersen UK)
  • Alex Zatman, Former Special Adviser to Work & Pensions Secretary Liz Kendall (Director, Teneo)
  • Matthew Upton, Executive Director for Labour Together
  • Jenny Ousbey, Former Senior Political Adviser to Care Services Minister Paul Burstow MP (CEO, OVID Health)

Following the panel, join us for a networking drinks reception, connecting state-educated professionals from across Westminster - including Parliament, civil service, communications, and the wider policy world.
