SEC Newgate are delighted to be hosting a virtual discussion with former Cabinet Minister Sir David Lidington ahead of the upcoming Queen's Speech.

David was de facto Deputy Prime Minister during the Theresa May government and served in a range of Cabinet roles, including as Minister for the Cabinet Office, Secretary of State for Justice and Leader of the House of Commons, where he was responsible for the government's legislative agenda.

We will be asking what to expect from the first Queen's Speech since Brexit and the COVID pandemic hit, and what the government's new agenda means for business.

The event will take place on Thursday 6 May at 11:00am and will last for around 45 minutes.
