Lowick and its sister agency Hedry have officially announced their merger to form Lowick Hedry, a new cross-party, multi-disciplinary public affairs and communications consultancy.

The strategic move brings together Lowick’s deeply rooted expertise in the Labour Party and local government with Hedry’s rapid-growth, multi-party campaign specialisms, which leverage deep insights into the politics of the traditional and populist right.

Operating from new offices inKing’s Cross, London and Cambridge, Lowick Hedry is engineered to provide clients with comprehensive, 360-degree political insight and corporate reputation management at both national and local levels.

A Strategic Evolution Built on Rapid Growth

Lowick was founded over nine years ago by Kevin McKeever, a former Portland partner, Labour Party Parliamentary Candidate, and Andy Burnham adviser. He launched the agency to address a distinct gap in the market: traditional public affairs agencies’ lack of understanding regarding the underlying currents of the Labour Party, mayoral authorities, local government, and affiliated trade unions.

Following the 2024 General Election, Lowick looked to broaden its political offering. This led to the launch of Hedry last year, co-founded with Conservative Party politics expert Nathan Parsad-Wyatt. Leveraging the financial and team strength of Lowick, Hedry achieved its accelerated three-year business plan in just 12 months, setting the stage for today's full merger.

Earlier this year, the firm also successfully launched its weekly podcast, Political Business, which recently featured a high-profile live event at their new King’s Cross base analysing the fallout from the May 7 elections.

Expanded Capabilities and Cross-Party Insight

The newly unified Lowick Hedry bridges the political divide, offering a suite of services designed to navigate an increasingly complex political and economic landscape. The firm already boasts a blue-chip roster of major corporate, property, and tech clients, including Berkeley, Google, JP Morgan, JD Wetherspoon, Mount Anvil, Aviva Investors,and the New West End Company.

The agency’s core capabilities include:

  • National and Local Government Relations: Navigating policies, devolved mayoralties, and the wider Labour government ecosystem;
  • Planning and Property Consents: Continuing a proven track record of securing consents for thousands of homes, offices, and major property developments;
  • Crisis & Litigation Management: Providing high-stakes reputation protection during sensitive legal and public crises;
  • Corporate Reputation: Developing strategic communications to build and safeguard brand equity.

Directorial Insight & Leadership

The leadership team emphasised that the merger addresses a growing demand for nuanced, comprehensive political strategy in a rapidly moving political climate.

"When we launched Hedry last year, we set a three-year plan. We hit it in twelve months," said Nathan Parsad-Wyatt, co-founder of Hedry and Partner at Lowick Hedry.

"That pace told us clients wanted something the market was not giving them: serious insight across the whole political spectrum, not just one side of it. Merging w

ith Lowick is how we deliver that at scale. Different traditions, one consultancy, and a clearer view of the landscape than anyone working a single side can offer."

"Lowick Hedry is cross-party by design and multi-disciplined in approach," added Kevin McKeever, CEO. "With the transition to a new Labour Prime Minister in Andy Burnham, we've got the insights to advise and the relationships to deliver. The question for organisations now is: are you ready for what's next?"

Looking Ahead

Reflecting on the milestone, Lowick Hedry’s leadership paid tribute to the current and former staff, friends, and clients who have been critical in building the solid foundations on which the business now flourishes.

As part of its next growth phase, Lowick Hedry has confirmed several high-profile hires in the pipeline, alongside the imminent launch of a dedicated graduate scheme and its first apprenticeship programme.
