An industry-leading awards programme for excellence in public affairs has been launched by the PRCA in partnership with publisher Zetter’s Political Services and political events company GovKnow.
The PRCA Public Affairs Awards 2014 will provide an opportunity for UK consultancy, in-house and individual public affairs practitioners to shine in an array of categories set to recognise the breadth and complexity of the sector.
Nominations will open in mid-July, following the launch of a dedicated awards website scheduled to go live on 15th July. The awards ceremony will take place at Park Plaza Riverbank in the evening of Tuesday 9th December. The Chairman of Judges has been announced as lobbying heavyweight Michael Burrell.
PRCA Director General Francis Ingham said: “The great work being carried out by the public affairs industry deserves to be recognised. The PRCA is proud to be launching the only dedicated public affairs awards in the UK, following on from the success of the PRCA Awards. I’d like to thank Zetter’s Political and GovKnow for their help and support, and Michael Burrell for agreeing to be our Chairman of Judges.”
