Rud Pedersen has announced the acquisition of Bien Commun Advisory (BCA), a respected public affairs and strategic communications consultancy in France. The acquisition marks an important step in Rud Pedersen’s growth in France and strengthens its ability to support clients facing complex political, regulatory, and reputational challenges.
Bien Commun Advisory has established itself as one of the most recognised independent firms in the French market, ranking among the top 10 public affairs consultancies in Paris. The firm combines strong strategic expertise with deep understanding of public policy and economic issues, advising senior leaders on high-stakes matters.
The expanded Rud Pedersen team in France will support clients on sensitive matters involving political, regulatory, legislative, and reputational risk, as well as on industrial alliances, foreign investment, financing, and European expansion projects.
As European industrial policy evolves, technology reshapes markets, and regulatory environments grow more complex, companies and investors need clear, integrated advice across borders. This acquisition strengthens Rud Pedersen’s ability to support multi-country projects where business strategy, investment, public policy, and institutional dynamics intersect.
The Paris office is now led by Managing Partners Nicolas Castex and Antoine Boulay, alongside Partners Claire Perset, Benjamin Martin, Marie-Charlotte Potet, and Frédéric Paillet.
Welcoming the new team, Morten Rud Pedersen, CEO and Founder of Rud Pedersen, said "France plays a central role in shaping European policy. Joining forces with the team from Bien Commun Advisory strengthens our ability to support businesses and investors as they navigate strategic challenges across France and the rest of Europe."
Speaking about joining Rud Pedersen France, Antoine Boulay, Managing Partner, said "This merger marks an important milestone for our team. In just over six years, we have built a strong position in the Paris market. Joining Rud Pedersen allows us to build a stronger European platform in France, combining strategic expertise, deep institutional understanding, and the ability to deliver on the most sensitive issues."
Commenting on the acquisition, Nicolas Castex, Managing Partner said "We believe in the value of an integrated European offer that helps companies navigate complex challenges across public policy, industrial strategy, and reputation. The addition of Bien Commun Advisory strengthens our ability to advise clients on strategic projects in France and across Europe."
