The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

What you’ll need to do

A key member of the team utilising your commercial awareness and project management skills in the delivery of exceptional communications and marketing support services to your clients across Scotland in the planning and built environment sector. You are at the heart of the account and the client relationship, delegating work appropriately to Executives and effectively managing upwards to your Directors. Building client relationships and identifying opportunities to deliver additional support.

Liaising directly with clients you will ensure the effective delivery of all projects within your portfolio, advising on and executing effective communications strategies on time, within budget and across a range of mediums whether that be liaising with the media, politicians or producing written consultation collateral.

Your work will also include directly undertaking, or managing Account Executives to undertake, the organisation of public exhibitions and stakeholder events, political and stakeholder research, drafting of letters, newsletters and exhibition boards and maintenance of accurate databases. You will also be expected to draft press releases and demonstrate a good understanding of media relations.
