We believe in a world where all disabled people have the opportunities to participate in every area of their life. Can your energy, passion and drive help us achieve this mission? Could your expertise and knowledge help ensure we achieve the greatest impact through effective governance and management?

Motivation is seeking two new Trustees to join our Board. We are particularly interested in applications from people who have experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Public Affairs and law making;
  • Digital innovation;
  • Income generation or driving business development.

We value diversity and we are driven by equality, so we especially encourage applications from those with international or BAME backgrounds and those with lived experience of disability.

Being a Trustee is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to be part of our global organisation as we deliver a bold strategy that strives to improve the lives of thousands of disabled people around the world.

As a member of the Board of Trustees, you will be responsible for setting the overall programmatic and financial strategy of the charity and approving the annual budget. Day-to-day management of the charity is delegated to the Chief Executive Officer and Senior Management Team.

We are privileged to have an active Board of Trustees who are successful and well regarded in their chosen careers. They are committed to the aims of the charity, and keen to share their judgement, experience, and connections with Motivation.

Ideally our new Trustees will bring extensive personal and professional networks that can support the development of our income generation activities, including fundraising.
