Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nursing charity that is there for the whole family. Our specialist nurses, known as Admiral Nurses, provide free, expert advice, support and understanding to help families care for their loved one. Every day, Admiral Nurses help families up and down the country to have the best life possible for as long as possible.

This is an exiting new role as a Campaigns and Engagement Manager at Dementia UK, where you will play a vital role in delivering our long-term policy and influencing strategy. Working closely with the Policy, Campaigns, and Public Affairs team, you will have a significant impact on shaping policy at the national, local, and devolved levels.

As the Campaigns and Engagement Manager, you will be instrumental in developing and executing Dementia UK's efforts to influence policy and strategy at various levels. This will involve leading the strategy, planning, and implementation of our major influencing campaigns. You will oversee and manage a dynamic network of campaign supporters, empowering individuals affected by dementia to become effective and influential advocates for change in health and care support across the UK. Additionally, you will provide direct line management and leadership to the campaigns and engagement officer.

The ideal candidate for this role will bring a wealth of experience working in policy, campaigns, and public affairs. You should have a proven track record in successfully delivering policy influencing initiatives and campaigns, along with expertise in driving effective supporter management and engagement strategies. Knowledge of digital campaign techniques and experience in evaluating campaigning activities will be crucial for success in this position.
