The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

To create lasting change on important social issues like poverty and homelessness, we need to communicate about them in ways which can shift hearts and minds and build a broad movement of people. We know that when we change the story, we can change the world.

FrameWorks UK collaborates with charities and other mission driven organisations to communicate about social issues in ways that will create social progress. Our framing research shows how people think about important social issues. We use this knowledge to develop and test strategic communications to help organisations create change.

Our Communications Strategist is responsible for:

  • Leading our external communications to promote good framing practice;
  • Building our networks and brand through a programme of events;
  • Contributing to our effectiveness through operations and project support.

They will join a small, high performing team and collaborate with colleagues at the FrameWorks Institute in the US. The Communications Strategist will have the opportunity to learn about strategic communications, the science of framing, and how research can be used to create compelling communications.

There is an expectation that at least two days per week will be spent in person with the team at our central London office by Waterloo station. Beyond this, there is scope for flexible working patterns, locations, and hours.

The successful candidate will be committed to social change and highly motivated to support our partners to create social progress through evidence–based approaches to communications. They will have previous relevant work experience, and will be brilliantly well organised, confident, and keen to learn and develop.
