Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

Jefferson Communications is a City of London corporate communications agency delivering integrated PR and public affairs services across healthcare, technology, property, and financial services.

We are looking for a Public Affairs Manager to join the team as we grow our PA capability.

The role:

You will build and deliver political and stakeholder campaigns, develop and maintain networks across Westminster, Whitehall, and relevant sector bodies, and produce high-quality policy intelligence and briefings for clients. Healthcare is the primary focus, but you will work across all of the agency's sectors. You will manage day-to-day client relationships and work closely with the senior team on strategy and account planning.

We are looking for:

  • Demonstrable public affairs experience — agency, in-house, Parliament, Government, or NHS/patient advocacy;
  • Good knowledge of health policy and the NHS landscape;
  • Strong policy drafting and communication skills;
  • An established or developing Westminster and stakeholder network;
  • Comfortable managing multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment.
