I am currently recruiting for a Regulatory Affairs Manager (ESG & Markets Infrastructure) with a global financial services membership body. The role will focus on both ESG and market infrastructure policy issues.
The position reports to the Head of Regulatory Affairs, alongside a team of five others, including the ESG lead, with whom the individual will work closely. The individual will run or be involved in key member working groups, covering business issues and standards and producing white papers and organising member events, as well as responding to regulatory consultations. The Regulatory Affairs team also handles advocacy on behalf of the membership, with particular emphasis on engagement with international standard-setting bodies.Additionally, the team keeps members informed on global regulatory and market developments, via publications and on-line meetings and events, and by producing educational materials on newer issues. There are also some shared general support duties, relating to events.
The Successful Applicant
- Experience of regulatory policy from either a market infrastructure or ESG perspective;
- Or the ability to pick up new policy issues;
- Strong stakeholder engagement experience;
- Strong research and communications.
