Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

We are currently recruiting for an exceptional campaigner with a proven track record of creating, developing and implementing innovative and successful campaigns. You will have fantastic organisational and project management skills, with an understanding of advocacy and campaigning with online and offline networks.

You will also have creativity and excellent marketing communication skills to help us achieve real change for older people. Through your campaigns, you will address a wide range of issues facing our ageing population.

Required experience and attributes:

  • Track record of delivering creative campaigns which have impact;
  • Ability to think strategically and to develop and implement strategies to deliver campaigning objectives;
  • Strong knowledge of campaigning techniques and innovations;
  • Experience of building a network of campaign supporters;
  • Experience of commissioning, writing and delivering high quality campaign materials;
  • Skilled and experienced in navigating complex organisations and of working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Excellent planning and project management skills and ability to prioritise workloads and competing demands.
