Incisive Health has appointed Jean-Louis Roux as a Director to support the consultancy’s growing international business.

Since launching less than a year ago, Incisive Health’s international practice now boasts 13 clients, working in Europe, the Asia-Pacific region and on a global basis. The consultancy has also recently won four projects relating to Britain’s exit from the European Union. Its international clients now include MSD, Roche and the Confederation of Meningitis Organisations.

Roux will work out of Incisive Health’s London and Brussels offices. He has 12 years of healthcare public affairs experience acquired in corporate, NGO and consultancy environments. He joins Incisive Health from the European Organisation for Rare Diseases, where he led the organisation’s engagement with European and international policy-makers as Public Affairs Director. Prior to that, Roux worked for Bristol-Myers Squibb in their Global Policy, Advocacy and Government Affairs group.

Commenting on the appointment, Mike Birtwistle said: “Our international practice has had an extremely strong start, proving that our approach can deliver big wins on international scale. The appointment of Jean-Louis marks the next stage in our international development. We envisage a series of international hires to further bolster our offer in the coming months.”

Jean-Louis Roux added: “The international health community faces real challenges, with distracted decision-makers increasingly turning inwards. Having observed Incisive Health’s first steps on the international stage, I am impressed by the way the team combines real expertise and creativity at a time when both are clearly needed. I can’t wait to play my part in the next stage of Incisive Health International.”
