Established in January 2002, the PubAffairs group is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry. PubAffairs is free to join.

The network was set up by public affairs practitioner Phil Murphy who, having taken up a role in Westminster after working in Brussels, recognised a need for informal peer-to-peer networking. The first event in January 2002 brought together ten fellow practitioners and its popularity quickly grew. PubAffairs is an independent organisation, which became a limited company in 2006.
