Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

WaterAid is looking for a dynamic and influential UK Advocacy Manager to play a vital role in our mission to transform lives with safe water, sanitation and hygiene in the world’s poorest communities.

Working within our Campaigns team, the UK Advocacy Manager will coordinate WaterAid’s UK advocacy, in order to influence the development policy and practices of the UK government, parliament, MPs and relevant departments including DFID. In addition you will bring ideas to support the relevant UK fundraising teams to develop and deliver innovative campaigns  to involve our existing supporters, community groups, schools, corporate partners and water companies.

To be successful, you’ll need to:

  • Be a parliamentary and advocacy expert, with relevant experience of using policy, research, lobbying, public campaigning, media and digital work to influence a political agenda;
  • Have sound political judgement with proven experience of engaging and influencing senior decision makers.
