Field Consulting has announced the hire of Mike Katz who is joining to lead client engagement with Labour.

Katz, who joins as a Director, has come from transport operator FirstGroup, where he was Head of Policy & Public Affairs for the Rail division.

He is also Chair of Labour Party affiliate the Jewish Labour Movement and has significant experience and understanding of working with the Party, having campaigned successfully for the Party to tackle antisemitism inherited from the Corbyn era.

During a long political career as an activist, Katz has sat on Labour’s National Policy Forum, been a councillor in Camden and a parliamentary candidate in Barnet and Westminster. He has just been elected to the London Labour Party Regional Exeuctive.
