The DeHavilland Group continues its ambitious growth plans with the acquisition of EU political monitoring specialist One Policy Place (OPP). OPP is recognised for its best-in-class platform and high-quality policy service, boasting a number of blue-chip clients among its user base.

The addition of OPP will instantly enhance the other brands in the Group, including political intelligence specialist DeHavilland, which serves both the EU and UK markets. Clients will benefit from a combined offering of superior policy support and market-leading technology.

This acquisition is the latest step on the Group’s journey to create a single source of information and intelligence on politics, policy and legislation. The Group’s clients rely on its data and insights to support critical business and investment decisions.

Andrew Himsley, DeHavilland Group CEO, said: “We are excited to have OPP join the Group. It provides us with greater scale in the EU and its quality technology platform and policy team are a complementary fit with the breadth and depth of political intelligence already within the Group. The business has demonstrated incredible growth in recent years and for its clients, OPP is considered a must-have service. This acquisition further supports our ambition to continue to be a leading political information services business across Europe.”

OPP Co-Founders Luisa and Mark said: “We are delighted for OPP to be part of the DeHavilland Group. The Group’s consistent track record of growth and investment will support the business to deliver on the next stage of its ambitions. Ultimately this will benefit our clients, not just in the EU, but in other geographic areas that the Group serves.”
