Whitehouse Communications is delighted to announce the promotion of Max Wilson to Managing Director, recognising his exceptional leadership and significant contribution to the consultancy’s public affairs and strategic communications practice.

He advises clients on navigating complex policymaking environments, engaging influential decision-makers, and delivering clear outcomes. His expertise spans high-level stakeholder engagement, political campaigns, and strategic communications, supported by extensive experience in media relations and reputation management on high-profile projects of national and international significance. Max is also a regular political commentator on Sky News, BBC and others. 

Prior to joining Whitehouse, Max spent more than five years working within the Labour Party in a number of senior roles. These included leading campaigns for the Parliamentary Labour Party’s Political Services Unit, and Political Adviser in the Leader of the Opposition’s Office. He also served as Head of Communications for Back Heathrow, the campaign group advocating for a third runway at Heathrow Airport, where he led media relations and political engagement activity.

Since joining Whitehouse, Max has spearheaded integrated public affairs and communications campaigns that have influenced policy debates and legislative outcomes, while resonating strongly with Westminster and wider political stakeholders. His leadership has further strengthened the agency’s public affairs offering and consistently delivered tangible results for clients across a wide range of sectors.
