Incisive Health has announced the opening of a new office in Brussels following rapid growth in its international business.

Founded in London in 2013, the multi-award-winning health policy and communications consultancy has secured a portfolio of high profile pharmaceutical companies, charities and campaigning coalitions among its client list.

Anna Dé has been appointed as Head of International Business Development to help accelerate growth. Previously, she worked at Ogilvy Healthworld following experience at Acumen Public Affairs and Hill+Knowlton Strategies.

Incisive Health is working on international projects with a range of high profile organisations, including 23andMe, AbbVie, EFPIA, the Global Lung Cancer Coalition, Norgine and Roche. International projects include work on genomics, oncology, and pricing and reimbursement.

The new office is situated at Square de Meeûs, in the heart of the European Quarter of Brussels, and the team includes fluent Czech, Danish, English, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Spanish and Urdu speakers. The 21-strong multinational team are led by Incisive Health’s three Founding Partners, Mike Birtwistle, Bill Morgan and Sarah Winstone.

Mike Birtwistle said: “The world of health policy is getting smaller and contact with key decision-makers has never been easier. But getting cut-through is more challenging. We founded Incisive Health precisely because we know how to achieve this.”

Bill Morgan added: “Every country is grappling with similar policy challenges. Solving these requires detailed understanding of the dynamics of health, combined with a campaigning flair which captures hearts as well as minds.”

Sarah Winstone commented: “Tried and tested quickly becomes tested but tired. Clients have been telling us that international health policy communications needs a shake-up. Incisive Health’s approach is tailor-made to do precisely that.”
